Taylor Larsen is a graduate of Columbia University’s MFA program in fiction writing and the author of the debut novel Stranger, Father, Beloved from Gallery Books of Simon & Schuster (2016). She teaches or has taught creative writing at Columbia University, Stanford Continuing Studies, Catapult, the Sackett Street Writers Workshop.
Taylor was a Peter Taylor fellow of E.J. Levy’s hybrid workshop, as well as a visiting author at the Kenyon Review’s Summer Writer’s Workshop. She has had interviews, short stories, essays, and more published in The Huffington Post, BOMB Magazine, LitHub, the Los Angeles Review of Books, The Rumpus, Joyland, and more. Taylor has also worked as a book reviewer for several publications. Her second novel, FOR NOW, SLEEP is currently out on submission.
She resides in the Hudson Valley with her husband and four children.
